On iPad you can go to the Share screen, select the destination format (PNG, PDF or document) and then click the Share icon. Then select Dropbox in the new window. You will be presented with an another window to select your destination.
On Android you can select either of the Share options and you will be presented with a standard share screen where the Dropbox option should be present.
On Mac just save the document to your Dropbox folder.
